| Description |
Overview: Responsible for price strategy execution through SAP ECC pricing capabilities and system architecture. This role will lead key work threads in support of the pricing analytics and revenue optimization team, including pricing integration for suite of corporate order management applications, business transformation deployment activites, and system performance tuning and scalability initiatives.
Responsibilities: " Lead integration efforts that incorporate pricing design into Corporates suite of order managment tools, with the goal of aligning pricing strategy and execution with end user requirements
" Lead initiatives and make recommendations to optimize pricing system performance and scalablity based on understanding of system design, technical infrastructure and landscape
" Coordinate with Information Technology Center of Excellence to design and execute pricing capabilities defined by the business
" Lead integration activities with the deployment team to execute rollout strategy and incorporate localization requirements into pricing system design
" Understand business requirements and advise team on best practices for implementing changes through pricing system landscape
" Lead development of pricing analytics and revenue optimization system infrastructure that can be leveraged to meet future reporting needs
" Make recommendations based on analytics that leverage price to shape demand, defined via business results such as revenue, margin, cash, and cases
" Assist team in driving the formulation of the analytics agenda and the utilization of analytics in decision making processes to achieve and deliver strategic recommendations across the enterprise
" Manage competing agendas and reconcile mutually exclusive objectives across teams
" Coordinate tasks, resources, and opinions across functional areas to finalize directive action
" Knowledge of the following required: o Foodservice operation / wholesale distribution o SAP ECC pricing and system architecture o Pricing analytics and revenue optimization strategy
Key Accountabilities: " Integrate pricing strategy and design into suite of Corporate order management applications
" Develop recommendations and lead initiatives to optimize pricing system performance and scalablity
" Assist team in implementing overall pricing strategy
" Lead interpretation of buisness requirements into system capabilities
" Advise team and make recommendations based on system design best practices
" Coordinate activities and communicate with key integration teams such as IT, Shared Business Services, and Sales Operation to ensure all processes are working in synchronization
Competencies: Deep knowledge of SAP ECC pricing capabilities and system architecture
" Complete and thorough understanding of foodservice operation / wholesale distribution industry
" Understanding of data structures and database systems
" Ability to handle change and thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
Qualifications: Education / Experience: " Bachelors degree required; Masters /Advanced Degree a plus
" Minimum 7 years of business experience: o Including a minimum of 3 years of SAP or combined SAP & equivalent ERP experience (PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.) in the areas of SAP ECC pricing, data modeling, customer relationship management systems
" Experience with SAP ECC pricing implementation and business transformation projects
" Experience with leading teams to accomplish objectives
" Process Mapping; current and future business state including building case for change to include business and user requirements
" Possess excellent project management, planning, and implementation skills
" Show sound judgment in problem analysis, problem solving, and strategic thinking
" Show confidence in managing cross functional communication
" Possess solid verbal and written communication skills
" Excellent skills in leading change and gaining commitment
" air travel up to 25% of the time
" Foodservice operations / wholesale distribution preferred
