Overview:
Provides functional expertise in more than one area of SAP's application modules pertaining to an assigned functional area. Participates in the implementation of configuration changes related to the assigned modules, in addition to performing ongoing maintenance and support.

Responsibilities:
" Provides functional expertise within the assigned functional area and module(s) to confirm business requirements definition.

" Provides guidance and insights about the nature and implementation of the assigned module(s) to the implementation teams, subject matter experts, end users, IT specialists, Systems Integrator(s), and other internal and external resources.

" Defines, documents and performs configuration changes and identifies potential programming modifications necessary to meet the business requirements for a minimum of two ERP modules and/or related systems within the functional area.

" Provides oversight to less experienced Analysts as required.

" Updates tickets with status and sends email notifications timely and accurately.

" Responds to emails and v-mails in an appropriate timeframe.

" Participates in change management and release management activities relating to the assigned functional area(s).

" Participates in functional and technical solution reviews with management staff, developers, architects, and infrastructure (i.e., Basis) representatives.

" Resolves and troubleshoots solution defects, including interface support, debugging, and functional support within the assigned functional area as necessary.

" Collaborates with all levels of the organization on project schedules, risks, and issues relating to the assigned modules within functional area.

" Works with Business Analysts, Team Lead and Functional Analysts to identify process improvement opportunities.

" Keeps project leadership and stakeholders informed of progress on tasks and issues requiring follow-up.

" Participates in the test planning and performs testing activities (including unit, integration and user acceptance testing).

" Provides guidance and expertise relating to the assigned module(s) of the functional area for the set up and support of Production and non-Production environments.

" Records time in record keeping system accurately and timely.

" Participates in all requirements for achieving team goals.

" Complies with all Company corporate and department policies and procedures.

" Provides after hours support.

" Travels as required to fulfill assigned tasks.

" Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
" H.S. Diploma/GED required.

" Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

Skills and Experience:
" Minimum 4 years of overall IT (or related area) work experience.

" Minimum 2 years SAP experience in two or more SAP modules (ECC - A/P & A/R) related to the assigned functional area.

" Minimum 3 years food service or related industry experience preferred.

" Working knowledge of the assigned SAP functional area and related product modules/product suites, business processes (including basic business process flows and functional diagrams), navigation mechanics, configuration requirements and integration with other modules.

" Understanding of the effect of configuration changes.

" Working knowledge of change control and release management processes.

" Working knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.

" Working knowledge of the Remedy ticketing software or software providing similar functionality to resolve incidents.

" Experience with Visio, Microsoft Office, Business Objects, Microsoft Project and Process Modeling tools.

" Ability to develop functional and technical specifications.

" Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.

" Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.

" Ability to research computing-related matters such as similar issues that other companies might be dealing with, potential vendors who might provide products and/or services that could address a specific need, etc.

" Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

" Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing associated stress.

" Flexible; readily accepts new changes; open to new ideas.
