| Description |
Seeking a highly motivated, experienced SAP BW developer to join the IT Applications team. You will work closely with the SAP BW Architect to estimate, plan, develop, and deliver SAP development activities in support of multiple projects around SAP's BW. You will design, develop, and enhance custom extracts in SAP BW. You will build customized info objects, InfoProviders, transformations, and user exits. You will work with standard SAP business content and modify this depending on business requirement. You will gather requirements,create specs, test and provide support to the business users and functional teams. You will support both new project implementations and provide ongoing production support and maintenance, working on a small BW team in a new BW implementation.
Skills required include the following:
5-6+ year of SAP BW experience
BS in information systems, computer science, or business administration
Strong knowledge of SAP BW 7.x (back-end) and data sources in SAP ECC
Strong abilities to translate functional requirements into BW queries
Strong ABAP background and good understanding of object oriented programming in ABAP
Good experience with performance tuning and query optimization
Expertise in unit testing, BW BEx, and writing technical and user documentation
Experience with at least 3 of the following SAP modules: MM, PP, SD, QM, FI, CO, SM, HR
Strong analytical, problem solving communication, and organizational skills
Self motivated with ability to mutli task with excellent time management skills and attention to quality and detail
Experience supporting global SAP BW implementations a plus
Experience using SAP BW for data acquisition from non SAP systems a plu
