| Description |
Overview:
Provides expertise in all aspects of technical design and ABAP code for FRICEW/ RICEFW objects along with the ongoing maintenance and support. Applies communication, analytical, problem solving, business knowledge and technical skills to design and develop quality solutions.
Solid understanding of OTC (order to cash) and PTC (prospect to customer) processes, development experience in SAP CRM (SAP CRM Business Partner, CRM territory management, SAP CRM catalog management, SAP CRM Campaign management, CRM IC), ABAP debugging skills, code performance tuning, and ABAP general troubleshooting are required.
Strong Knowledge of SAP-CRM:
" Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming in ABAP Classes, Interfaces, Methods
" Good knowledge of the Web UI framework The different layers in the Web UI, how it works, how it interacts with each other
" Ability to identify standard components from the Web UI and figure out the navigations between them
" Good understanding of the basic configurations that is done in the Web UI framework for the user profiles, navigation bar profiles, navigation links etc.
" Enhance standard Web UI components modify standard searches, results, etc. Modify the standard BSP components to add custom code to implement new functionalities
" Change fields on the UI, add extra field properties like input enable/disable, search helps, events on field content change etc.
" Knowledge of performance improvement techniques and good coding skills to ensure undue execution times due to faulty coding.
" Understanding of CRM actions and how to implement actions in transactions
Knowledge of SAP SD is preferred.
Responsibilities:
" Collaborate with User Experience (UX), Process Teams, and IT organizations on solution design
" Provide effort estimates based on business requirements
" Design based on development standards and approaches
" Prepare technical specification based on thorough understanding of functional specification
" Facilitate extended unit test
" Perform code review
" Provide interface support as necessary
" Provide guidance and insights about the nature of and implementation of application to internal and external teams
" Collaborate with team members (Frontend, Middle-layer, and Backend) on FRICEW requirements and solution design
" Code based on development standards and approaches
" Perform development quality checks
" Assist with functional acceptance testing as needed
" Prepare all deliverables for assigned FRICEW object as detailed in software development life cycle
" Provide timely defect resolution to minimize delays in project time-line
" Assist with code transport process
Qualifications:
Education / Experience:
" A bachelor's degree is required preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
" 3+ years of overall IT work experience
" 2+ years of experience in ABAP
" Knowledge of assigned business and functional areas of SAP CRM module
" Knowledge of SAP software, language and tool such as ABAP and Netweaver platform
" Knowledge of common design patterns and programming models
" Knowledge of common development frameworks and tools
" Knowledge of software development standards and best practice approaches
" Exposure of Web technologies and technical architectures
Skills / Abilities:
" ABAP, BAPI, RFC, ABAP Web Dynpro, Java exposure, NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI)
" Has Certified and/or taken one or more of the following courses in SAP Application Development
o SAPTEC - Fundamentals of SAP NetWeaver Application Server
o TAW12 - ABAP Workbench Concepts
o BC400 - ABAP Workbench Foundations
o NET310 - Fundamentals of Web Dynpro for ABAP
" Experience in creating applications based on the Web Dynpro for ABAP programming model is desired
" Knowledge on system architecture of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server
" Good understanding of Model View Controller (MVC) programming model
" Understands how SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe is integrated into SAP NetWeaver
" Ability to perform multiple duties concurrently with attention to detail and quality
" Ability to work independently and with teams under the guidance of the Technical Lead and supervision of the Team Lead
" Ability to prioritize and manage work under the guidance of the Technical Lead and supervision of the Team Lead
